Welcome and hello, for all those of you who do not know me let me intruduce myself.

My name is Hannes and I am a tour manager based in Innsbruck Austria. I would like to

share the Highlights of one of my trips as a tour manager.

Vienna

In Vienna our first stop was a City tour. I picked up my group at the Airport in the morning and we drove to the Hotel. After the arrival the guests had some time on their own. As our Hotel was located very close to the castle Belvedere my group did not have to go far to see one of Viennas Highlights.

Castle Belvedere is always worth a visit

On the next day we had a guided City tour by Bus in the morning and after that We visited the Schloss Schönbrunn and we had the pleasure to attend at a Vienna Strudel show, which is a demonstration bakery in Palace's historic Cafe Residenz.

Strudelshow in the Cafe Residenz.

Starting from Vienna we drove through the beautiful Wachau and embarked a cruise ship

in Dürnstein to go to Melk on the blue danube. where we visited the Melk Abbey, on of europes biggest and most beautiful baroque buildings.

The Melk Abbey is always worth a visit and very impressive.

On the way from Stift Melk to Salzburg we visited the famous Parish Church in Mondsee, which was used for the wedding scene in Sound of Music movie.

Salzburg

In the birth place of Mozart we had a guided city tour starting at Mirabell.

We also had a Mozart Dinner at the St. Peter Stiftskulinarium, Europe's oldest restaurant .

View to the Fortress, the landmark of Salzburg

One of the the highlights was definitely the trip through the beautiful scenery of the Bavarian Alps up to the Eagle's Nest, Hitlers former mountain retreat. Amazing View.

Amazing View from the Kehlsteinhaus, known as the Eagles Nest

After three nights in Salzburg we were on the way to Innsbruck we visited the famous Swarovski Kristallwelten along the road, where we also had our lunch.

Innsbruck

The Capital of the alps. This is the marketing slogan the City of Innsbruck used for many years. And I think its true. There are so many things to see and do in my home town.

Innsbruck, my home town.

For example the medieval lanes in the old town to the "Golden Roof" and the imperial palace where you can enjoy the city.

You are in a City with one of a University over 350 Years old, 30.000 Students, surrounded by Mountains. We stayed there for two nights.

St. Moritz

In St. Moritz we boarded the Glacier Express, knows as the worlds slowest express train.

We had an excellent Lunch on the train and enjoyed the view. Also one of the highlights of our tour.

Lake St. Moritz and the surrounding mountains.

Interlaken

From Interlaken we went to Grindelwald to hop on the train to the kleine Scheidegg to get on the cogwheel train up to the Jungfraujoch pass, the hightest railroad station in Europe.

Thats me on the top of Europe

Lucerne

Lucerne is located to the Vierwaldstättersee, close to the mount Rigi. The charme of this

medieval city is beautiful.

The famous Chapel Bridge and the water tower

Zurich Um Zurich is not the capital of switzerland but the economical heart of the country.

Located to the Zurichsee, a beautiful lake with a beautiful landscape.

The Grossmünster  is a Romanesque-style Protestant church and one of the landmarkes

Conclusion

We are glad that we have such a cultural heritage in Europe and that everything is so close together. So its possible to see a lot of different things during your trip in Europe.

To be honest I really love our region and the scenery here. We are so blessed to work and live where other people go on vacation.

If you are a tour operator or a private person and plan to do a trip to Europe in need for a

tour manager please contact me. I would be glad to assist.

Thank you and take care

Hannes

Even though we travelled a lot, this trip to Austria and Switzerland in 2023 was memorable, incredibly wonderful, and after all very special. We visited spectacular places, learned a lot and made new friends. Hannes was very professional, caring and friendly. He knew how to organize all places and make all 24 people happy.  We felt like a family. Thank you, Hannes!

Wishing you the best,

Galina & Felix
